Kelly Rozier, RN, BSN

Kelly Rozier is an experienced clinical nurse consultant and speaker with the Baptist Leadership Group. Kelly’s passion and belief in service excellence has contributed to significant improvements in client organizations that utilized her expertise. With more than 20 years of clinical experience with Baptist Health Care, Kelly provides insights into the real-world challenges and opportunities her healthcare clients face. Her approach is not cookie cutter. Kelly customizes her consulting approach to her clients needs and has been instrumental in driving service excellence success in organizations of all sizes. She brings resourcefulness, creativity, and an understanding of the day-to-day operations to her coaching capabilities. Kelly works with her clients on the phone and in person to instill the concept of “common motion” – making every touch point with customers matter. And she is a motivational presenter for Baptist Leadership Group, speaking on how to jumpstart a culture and sharing the story of Baptist Health Care’s Journey to Excellence.

Kelly received her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of South Alabama, and has spent most of those years with Baptist Hospital. Before consulting, she spent the last 13 years as a nurse leader, and her management experience includes OB/GYN, General Surgery and the Peri-Operative Unit. Most recently, she assisted with development of a new Bariatric Program. For more than 10 years, Kelly has used compassion and empathy to perform sexual assault exams for Escambia County. She contributed to Baptist Health Care’s extraordinary cultural revolution by serving as the Patient Satisfaction/Service Recovery Team leader and as a member on the Celebrations Team.

In her words: “I worry about how workers are treated, and the long-term effects on the viability of health care. There are leaders who simply don’t know how to lead, and it affects the longevity of their employees’ careers. People go into the profession to help others, and we show them how to stay engaged and motivated, to move forward, and to become stronger leaders of people.”
