David Wildebrandt
David Wildebrandt is a speaker for Baptist Leadership Group and shares his intimate knowledge of Baptist Health Cares Journey to Excellence with healthcare systems throughout the United States . As a new employee at the beginning of the Baptist journey in 1996, David served on all six service teams at Baptist Health Care as well as the steering committee for Baptists corporate leadership development program. He was integral in developing the many best practices tools used by Baptist Health Care and Baptist Leadership Group today, including Scripting, Standards of Performance, Rounding, Reward and Recognition, Peer Interviewing, Bright Ideas and Service Recovery. Now, he not only coaches Baptist team facilitators, but is a key resource in the areas of operational excellence, service, and employee satisfaction for both Baptist employees and clients. David has lectured extensively in the areas of alignment/accountability, new business development and service excellence.
He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Baptist Hospital and Administrator for Baptist Medical Park. As such, David manages the daily operations for the 112,000 square foot ambulatory care facility located in Northwest Florida and is CEO of a for-profit surgery center. While at Baptist Medical Park, David has overseen the development of the Press-Ganey patient satisfaction program and chairs the Loyalty Team, which has helped Baptist Medical Park rank number one in the country in patient satisfaction. His business savvy and diverse background in clinical, operational and administrative areas have resulted in high profitability for his service areas and facilities.
David has a masters degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Alabamas College of Allied Health. He has been in health care for more than 10 years and has a clinical background in occupational therapy.
